Privacy, plainly.

This is a placeholder. Replace with a real policy reviewed by counsel before public launch. The sketch below reflects what BANDR has publicly committed to — it is not yet a legal document.
The short version
We collect the minimum needed to run the app: your email, what you upload, who you match with. We don't sell it. We don't train models on your audio. We don't share it with advertisers. Your collab threads are private to you and the person you matched with.
What we collect
- Account: email, display name, role tags, optional profile photo.
- Audio you upload: stored encrypted, served only to people you've matched with or made public to.
- Usage signals (swipes, matches, sessions) — used to improve matching, never sold.
- Standard server logs (IP, user-agent) for security and debugging.
What we don't do
- We do not train AI models on your audio.
- We do not sell user data to advertisers or data brokers.
- We do not read your match conversations or scan them for ad targeting.
- We do not take a cut of music you make with collaborators you met here.
Your rights
You can export your data, delete your account, or pull any clip from the platform at any time, from your settings page. Email privacy@bandrapp.net if you'd rather we do it for you.
